About Me

Bailey Earith is a professional fiber artist. She creates fabric art that has textural elements. These elements often include beads, hand-painted fabric, yarns, and found objects.

As an Artist-in-Residence, Bailey teaches children how to create art. She specializes in teaching children and adults with disabilities. Bailey believes in helping everyone reach his or her creative potential regardless of age or skill level.

Bailey has exhibited across the country and has work in countries around the world. Bailey teaches often throughout the year and has been published extensively in magazines and books for both her studio and artist-in-residence work.

VSA arts Hosts 2008 Educational Conference on Universal Design for Learning

VSA arts discusses the latest trends in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and how it relates to arts education at its 2008 conference "The Contours of Inclusion: Universal Design for Learning for Arts in Education" on Sept. 19 in Washington, D.C. Keynote speaker Dr. Tracey Hall from the Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST) will frame UDL principles and practices, and attendees will learn to apply UDL to arts curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
