Bailey Fiber Art Studio: Special Education Day

About Me

Bailey Earith is a professional fiber artist. She creates fabric art that has textural elements. These elements often include beads, hand-painted fabric, yarns, and found objects.

As an Artist-in-Residence, Bailey teaches children how to create art. She specializes in teaching children and adults with disabilities. Bailey believes in helping everyone reach his or her creative potential regardless of age or skill level.

Bailey has exhibited across the country and has work in countries around the world. Bailey teaches often throughout the year and has been published extensively in magazines and books for both her studio and artist-in-residence work.

Special Education Day

Today is "Special Education Day". I am working on a project with A.L.Lotts as part of an ongoing state-wide study by VSA-TN. The study examines learning through collaboration between teaching artists, art teachers and special ed teachers. At A.L.Lotts, we will be creating critters/creatures along with a special critter house and book. Watch for updates.
