Feather Hair Extentions
Feather hair extensions are taking flight this summer!
While this hair trend echos the boho style of the '70s, it hasn't just returned, according to Hair Flairs Canada (custom hair extensions and accessories manufacturer) manager Trina Marr, it's taken over.
"Technology has coupled with an old idea and made it new. We're not looking like Pocahontas," Marr tells StyleList. "It's classy and a bit rock 'n' roll."
Faced with a rough economy, Marr believes that women were in search of a budget-friendly way to dress up their hair. Feather hair extensions are a fun and flirty alternative to costly highlights, and the appeal sparked a frenzy among stylists.
Hair stylist Joy La Rosa of the Sam Brocato Salon in SoHo has noticed that women are sitting down in her chair for natural hued feathers because it looks natural and organic.
GOOD NEWS!!! I'm offering natural hued feathers that have been naturally shed, at a bargain price. I will do hair extensions for $10 each or clip-ins for $15. If you'd like some or know of a location where I can set-up a booth, please contact me. Thanks.
